Hybrid Courses

A Hybrid class simultaneously uses Zoom in conjunction with classroom-based class delivery. There are different types of hybrid courses - Hybrid In-Person (Onsite), Hybrid Remote or Hyflex .

Hybrid courses require students to declare their attendance up-front as either attending the class in person or attending the class remotely.

Hybrid - In-Person (Onsite)

Instruction Method: HYBON

A course offering where a student attends in person but other students are attending remotely at the same time.

HYBON courses are in person and are not listed in the timetable below.

Students declare their intention to attend in person.

Hybrid - Remote

Instruction Method: HYBRM

A course offering where a student attends remotely but other students are attending in person at the same time.

Students declare their intention to attend remotely.

Hyflex - In-Person and Remote

Instruction Method: HYFLX

A course offering that provides students the opportunity to attend class sessions onsite or remotely either partially or fully.

This type of class gives students the choice to attend onsite or remotely. Students can attend some classes onsite, some remotely, entirely onsite or entirely remotely.
