Get Involved
Getting involved at the University of Regina means using your Rams and Cougars spirit and charging forward into the large variety of programs available to all students. You’ll have access to our Centre for Experiential and Service Learning, Student Success Centre, ta-tawâw Student Centre, and Global Learning Centre — as well as music events, theatre, intramurals, and club sports. You'll develop personally, culturally, academically and professionally — all while having fun in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Experience U of R
ta-tawâw Student Centre
Respectful and welcoming, the ta-tawâw Student Centre is a place that encourages student empowerment, identity, community connection and Indigenous ways of learning. It's a central hub for all students on campus.
An Elder-based leadership program, the Neekaneewak ("they are leading") Leadership Initiative (NLI) enhances cultural awareness and leadership skills through traditional and current "ways of knowing."
The nitôncipâmin omâ Student Success Program provides Indigenous U of R students with the most supportive learning environment during the first year of classes.

I've tried to be involved as much as possible. I've worked in a few different departments on campus, been involved with the Ambassadors and other clubs, and have really just gotten to know the university and the people here. It really is a community in that the people here work together, support each other, and try to make it as great an experience as they can.
