I am deeply committed to both academic and administrative service, fostering the growth of academic programs and student welfare. In my editorial work, I serve as the Associate Editor for Supply Chain Analytics Journal (Elsevier) and on the editorial boards of several journals, including Industrial Engineering & Management Journal and International Journal of Supply Chain and Inventory Management. I also review manuscripts for high-impact journals such as Computers and Industrial Engineering and Journal of Cleaner Production.
At the University of Regina, I have held leadership roles in various initiatives. Notably, I served as the co-chair of the 1st International Conference on Industrial, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering (ICIMP-2024), overseeing logistics and the paper review process for over 165 accepted submissions. Additionally, I developed and currently advise the IISE student chapter, organizing networking events and professional development activities. My contributions also include facilitating international collaborations, such as establishing MoUs with institutions like the National University of Science and Technology (Pakistan) and the University of Johannesburg (South Africa). I have also served on key university committees, such as Graduate Studies and Research, Faculty Rep, and Local Safety Committee.
Beyond the university, I contribute to the broader academic community as an external PhD examiner for universities like Anna University, Greenwich University, and Karachi University, and as a program reviewer for SaskPolytech’s Supply Chain Management Program. Additionally, I have co-guest edited special issues for journals and served as a keynote speaker at international conferences, further advancing my field globally.
