Hello, I’m Sharfuddin Ahmed Khan, an academician and researcher currently serving as
Associate Professor and Associate Program Chair in the Industrial Systems
Engineering program at the University of Regina, Canada. With over 15 years of
academic and industry experience, I specialize in Industrial Engineering, Industrial
Management, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, Multi-criteria Decision
Making, and Sustainable Practices.
My research is focused on the integration of
Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance supply chain resilience, sustainability, and
economic development. I teach a diverse portfolio of undergraduate and graduate
courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management and maintain active collaborations
with industry partners through applied research. I have authored numerous
peer-reviewed publications, co-edited academic volumes, led funded projects
supported by agencies including Mitacs and Natural Sciences and Engineering Research
Council of Canada (NSERC), and am committed to mentoring graduate students and
fostering international academic partnerships.
