Ouch. At least we weren't skunked!!!
The post game discussion was about a Sunday night practice ... say a game of scrub. Given quarum I'm willing to organize such an event. Use of campus (or city) diamonds will require a booking ahead of time. A few reps at bat, catching the fly balls in the sun, stopping the grounders, making the play to first base, etc in a practice situation will take away the game day pressure.
All this talk about practice should be taken with a grain of salt ... remember that the primary goal is to have a lot of fun out there. We're not playing for the World Series. (According to league rules Pete Rose head first slides are out this year ;-)
