For the first outing of the year it was a good showing against a formidable new opponent. The Andrea and Brandi team was solid at bat and in the field. The Sluggers spotted A&B 8 runs in the first two innings then held the fort for the remainder of the game. Holding the bad guys (who were a great team to play against) to three scoreless innings was a feat. By the bottom of seven, the Sluggers bats were ready to rumble ... an impresive 5 run rally made the final score a bit closer. Honourable mention to the fan support and the future draft pick of 2017 ;-)
