The roster was a might bit sparse as game time approached ... the coach was even a bit worried, but eventually everyone was present, even some quick responding recruits. The Sluggers played four of the best innings we've ever played. Two goose eggs followed by a singleton on the Uncoachables sheet indicate a solid defensive effort to start the game. Even our bats were smoking for the first four innings ... we just need a bit more of a killer instinct to finish the job that was aptly started.
