Adjusting to a New Culture
Navigating Culture Shock
Students come from all over the world to study at our university, but it's important to note that Saskatchewan has it's own culture and customs, which can make it difficult to fit in and adapt at first. You might feel lonely or isolated, maybe confused or lacking connection and support. These are all natural ways to feel and it can be very stressful - this is what we call culture shock.
