International Student Services welcomes you to our dynamic and vibrant global community! 

As you embark on your academic journey, you will experience, first-hand, the dedicated support that each of our students receives from our team. Whether it be helping you to maintain your immigration status, settle in Saskatchewan, adjust to a new academic culture, or prepare for life beyond graduation, our advisors are specially trained to provide you with the highest standard of support that you deserve!

We are honoured to extend our services and programming to all University of Regina international students studying on Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 lands - territories of the nêhiyawak (nay-hi-yuh-wuk, Cree), Anihšināpēk (uh-nish-i-naa-payk, Saulteaux), Dakota, Lakota, Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis/Michif Nation. Our team is committed to helping put things right as we collectively engage in actionable work towards truth and reconciliation.

Approved List of Programs that are Eligible for a PGWP

The University of Regina has released the list of diploma programs that meet the CIP code and labour market requirements to be eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit.

IRCC to Offer Virtual Information Sessions on PR Pathways

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will be hosting a number of 1-hour information sessions for international students who are interested in learning about the various immigration pathways available to them upon graduating from their academic program.

New International Students Require Provincial Attestation Letter

As of January 22, 2024, most undergraduate international students must include a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) from the province or territory where they plan to pursue their post-secondary studies with their study permit application.
