How Does the Challenge Work?
For sports with single-event competitions in which both teams have declared Canada West participation for that year, one point is awarded to the school which places higher at the Canada West Championship.

Women's Cross Country | 4 | 4 |
Men's Cross Country |

Women's Track and Field | 4 | 4 |

For sports with full-season competitions in which both teams have declared Canada West participation for that year, one point is awarded based on head-to-head results:
- A full single point shall be awarded to the winner of a regular season game in sports where teams meet only once
- Partial points are awarded to winners of each regular season game in sports where teams meet multiple times, with wins being weighted so one single point is allocated for each sport
- A tie results in the two teams splitting the available points for that game
