Enhancing Student Experiences

The University of Regina is one of the most modern, well-maintained, and inviting campuses in Canada. The robust and service-oriented team behind the design, construction, maintenance, and financial planning is dedicated to making the campus inviting, functional, accessible, and safe. We are actively working on initiatives to further enhance the student experience such as:

Ad Hum Pit Renovation
The AdHum Pit, a beloved campus hub, is being reimagined. Our priority is enhancing the student experience, which is why we are transforming this iconic hang-out spot into a modern, accessible, and vibrant space—perfect for everything from study sessions and small classes to campus and community events. We can’t wait to unveil the new AdHum Pit in Summer 2025!

Campus Food Services Enhancements
We are busy enhancing food services with new dining options and a focus on healthy, sustainable choices. Recent openings include Ultimate Rotisserie, Chicken Tendees, Java Junction, and Starbucks, with Trifon’s Pizza, Da India Curry House Express, and Liang’s Kitchen coming in spring and summer 2025.

Student Support and Services

We are committed to supporting students’ health and well-being throughout their journey. In addition to offering services such as IT support, protective services, Indigenous student services, and employment opportunities, we place a strong emphasis on mental health and wellness.

The Health and Wellness Centre is expanding to better support students' mental health needs. With the addition of more nurse practitioners and enhanced accessibility, the expansion will increase appointment availability, reduce wait times, and offer a wider range of mental health services. These improvements aim to provide students with the timely care and support they need for their overall well-being.
