Teaching and Learning Technologies
Building on a major review of the University’s academic technology infrastructure by a task force co-chaired by the Provost & Vice-President (Academic) and the AVP (Academic) (2022), the AVP (Academic) spearheaded several projects to implement the task force’s recommendations. These projects aimed at improving the institutional teaching & learning technologies as well as faculty and student user experiences. Collaborating with other relevant units, the AVP (Academic) led the development of action plans in three main areas: the learning management system, distributed and distance learning, and classroom technologies.
