Jocelyn's experience includes eighteen years in research administration at postsecondary institutions in Saskatchewan and Alberta, developing successful research grant proposals and negotiating research funding arrangements with government and industry. She has served on several non-profit boards and worked on numerous environment initiatives, including both sustainability strategic plans, the SDG12 Cluster, the Sustainability and Community Engagement Fund, the City of Regina Environment Advisory Committee, as a beekeeper, and as a volunteer water ranger for a community-based water monitoring research project.
As the Office's first Director, Jocelyn works with leaders across the organization to move the sustainability strategy forward, including Facilities Management and the Office of Indigenous Engagement, and with individuals in key portfolios to oversee and facilitate supports for sustainability efforts in teaching, research, operations and engagement. As a key advisor on environmental sustainability and climate action, she also leads the implementation of the Sustainability Action Plan.
