Time travel in style with the University of Regina Fashion Flashback contest.
In honour of the University’s 50th Anniversary, dive into our photo archives and discover campus style over the decades. What did U of R students and faculty (maybe your parents or a blast from the past if you’re alumni) wear and how did they accessorize during the 1970s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and early 2020s?

Watch for photo galleries highlighting each decade (but not telling you which one!) on the official U of R social media accounts — TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Take your best guess and leave a comment with the decade you think is featured. If correct, your name will be entered into a draw for a U of R swag bundle (water bottle, frisbee, toque, tote bag, stickers, and temporary tattoos).
The Fashion Flashback contest runs from Wednesday, March 12th to Friday, April 11th with multiple photo galleries featured. Submit one answer on every post for the greatest chance of winning.
Three style savvy winners will be randomly selected and announced on Monday, April 14th.

Please note: Winners must be in the Regina area to collect prizes.
Best of luck fashionistas! Watch for Fashion Flashback posts on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook starting March 12.
About the University of Regina
2024 marked our 50th anniversary as an independent University (although our roots as Regina College date back more than a century!). As we celebrate our past, we work towards a future that is as limitless as the prairie horizon. We support the health and well-being of our 17,200 students and provide them with hands-on learning opportunities to develop career-ready graduates – more than 92,000 alumni enrich communities in Saskatchewan and around the globe. Our research enterprise has grown to 21 research centres and 9 Canada Research Chairs. Our campuses are on Treaties 4 and 6 - the territories of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda peoples, and the homeland of the Michif/Métis nation. We seek to grow our relationships with Indigenous communities to build a more inclusive future.
Let’s go far, together.
