Graduate TAs & Markers
Only current or accepted students are eligible for Teaching Assistantships (TA) and Marking Positions.
TA application:
TA’s in Physics teach/mark for our Laboratory sections, which are scheduled for weekday mornings (8:30 am start) and afternoons (2:30 pm start). If your research takes up most of a semester then it may not be feasible to assign a TAship for that semester, although we do have some online sections. Lastly, if your upcoming semester schedule changes after applying for a TAship, please promptly inform the Physics Department Office (physics@uregina.ca).
The link to the application will be circulated to current graduate students in Physics approximately one month before the application deadline.
Marker application:
Markers in Physics mark for a selection of our course sections. Markers are expected to complete grading within a week after the assignment is due.
In general courses requiring a marker are:
*Fall: PHYS109, PHYS119, PHYS111, PHYS112, PHYS201*Winter: PHYS109, PHYS119, PHYS112, PHYS142
*These are subject to change and are listed as a general guide.
Application deadlines:

- Winter semester - November 22
