The University of Regina has developed formal agreements with a number of recognized post-secondary institutions. These agreements are designed to facilitate the transfer of credits for students who have completed specific programs at partner institutions, allowing them to continue their education seamlessly at the University of Regina. Lakeland College

Education

Graduates of the Early Childhood Education Certificate on or after April 30, 2023, with a minimum PGPA of 2.0, will receive a maximum of 15 credit hours towards the Bachelor of Education, Elemenary Program,

Graduates of the Early Childhood Education Diploma on or after April 30, with a minimum PGPA of 2.0, will receive a maximum of 30 credit hours towards the Bachelor of Education, Elementary Education

Social Work

Graduates of the Child and Youth Care Counsellor Diploma, completed on or after June 2024 with a grade point average of 2.7, will receive 30 transfer credit hours. Students are required to completed the required courses of the Pre Social Work year and meet the minimum admission requirements to apply to the Bachelor of Social Work.

Medicine Hat College

Business

Graduates of the Business Diploma, on or after September 1, 2021, can receive transfer credit towards the Bachelor of Administration or Bachelor of Business Administration. Students are required to have a GPA of 65% and a grade of 60% in each course is required to be considered for transfer credit.

Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)

Kinesiology

Graduates of Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma, on or after April 1, 2021, with a 2.0 GPA or higher, are eligible for 57 credits towards the Bachelor of Kinesiology, Human Kinetics program.

Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT)

Business

Graduates of the Business Diploma, on or after September 1, 2021, can receive transfer credit towards the Bachelor of Administration or Bachelor of Business Administration. Students are required to have a GPA of 65% and a grade of 60% in each course is required to be considered for transfer credit.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic

Arts

Graduates of the Resource and Environmental Law Diploma or the Integrated Resource Management Diploma can be awarded 60 credits towards the Bachelor of Arts in Resource and Environmental Studies

Business

Graduates of the Business Certificate or Diploma can receive transfer credit towards the Bachelor of Business Administration. A GPA of 65% and a grade of 60% in each course is required to be considered for transfer credit. Graduates of the Certificate program may earn up to 30 transfer credit hours, and a graduate of the Diploma may earn up to 60 credit hours to receive transfer credit https://www.uregina.ca/business-administration/assets/docs/hill-docs/saskpoly-2022nov.pdf

Education

Graduates of the Educational Assistant Certificate, on or after July 1, 2021, with a minimum GPA of 65% will receive a maximum of 30 credit hours towards the Bachelor of Education, Elementary Education. Students who graduated from the EA Certificate before June 30, 2021 will be considered on a case by case basis.

Graduate of the Early Childhood Diploma, on or after April 30, 2021, with a minimum GPA of 60% will receive a maximum of 30 credit hours towards the Bachelor of Education, Elementary Education. Students who graduated with the ECE Diploma before April 30, 2021 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Kinesiology and Health Studies

Graduates of the Therapeutic Recreation Diploma, on or after June 1, 2023, with a minimum GPA of 60%, will receive 60 credits towards the Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Studies, Therapeutic Recreation major.

MAP

Graduates of the Engineering Design and Drafting Technology Diploma, Graphic Communications Diploma, and the Interactive Design and Drafting Technology Diploma along with an English 100 or equivalent credit, will receive 60 transfer credit hours towards the Bachelor of Design.

Nursing

Graduates of the Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma, complete in or after 2021, may be awarded up to 36 transfer credit hours to the Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Students are required to have a grade to 60% in each course to be eligible for transfer credit.

Graduates of the Registered Psychiatric Nursing Diploma, completed in or after 2010, may be awarded up to 33 transfer credit hours to the Saskatchewan Collaborate Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Students are quired to have a grade of 60% in each course to be eligible for transfer credit.

Science

Graduates of Chemical Technology Diploma on or before May 2024 can be awarded 60 transfer credit hours towards the Bachelor of Science in Chemical Technology.

Graduates of the Integrated Resource Management Diploma can be awarded 60 credit hours towards the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology.
