Conference program :
This online conference titled “The global impact of pop culture – Voices from Canada, the United States of America and Europe,” is devoted to the exploration of, on the one hand, what constitutes pop culture, but also it is a survey of seminal icons of pop culture in music, art, and other forms of artistic expression. The conference also explores topics such as food, folk dance, famous books, traditions and video games, to name just a few. We will listen to different presentations of students, seminal scholars and lecturers from The United States of America, Europe and the University of Regina. They all share one common goal as they want to explore pop culture globally, taking into consideration different points of view, analyses and perceptions of mass culture.
Printed abstracts and bios of presenters will be available in CT 215 Theatre (La Cite Building).
