Complaint Process
Informal Complaint Process:
If you have a concern pertaining to harassment, discrimination or conflict, it's advisable to first meet with the Coordinator of Respectful University Services to discuss the matter. Often, an informal resolution can effectively address workplace or interpersonal conflicts.
Please email the Coordinator at respect@uregina.ca to schedule a confidential consultation.
Formal Complaint Process:
In certain circumstances, a formal complaint process may be necessary.
If you've already consulted with the Coordinator and it's been determined that a formal complaint process is required, please follow these steps to request a formal investigation:
- Fill out the formal complaint form.
- Prepare a separate document (the "Complaint") clearly stating the details of the alleged harassment or discrimination.
- Include any evidence you may have (emails, text messages, screenshots, etc.) and provide a list of witnesses.
Once you have completed the form and your Complaint, please email the information to the Coordinator at respect@uregian.ca or alternatively, contact the Coordinator to arrange a meeting to discuss your concerns.
For further information regarding the formal complaint process, please refer to the Respectful University Procedures.
