Internal Scholarships
The Regina Engineering Society is comprised of engineers from the Regina area. The society promotes the interest of the engineering profession and advances the professional, social and economic welfare of its members. The Regina Engineering Society Graduate Scholarship was established to support Graduate students and recognize academic and leadership achievements
Eligibility
The scholarship will be awarded to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:
- Is accepted as a fully-qualified graduate student from any University of Regina Engineering and Applied Science undergraduate program and continuing studies in Engineering at the graduate level;
-YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF REGINA; IF YOU HAVE NOT, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY AS YOU ARE INELIGIBLE
- Students who have entered (1st, 2nd or 3rd semester only) a graduate program in Engineering in that calendar year will be eligible; and
- Student has a minimum of 85% CGPA.
Note: Preference will be given to individuals who self-identify as Indigenous and/or Female.
Application Information
In addition, students will need to upload the following:
- UP TO DATE Transcripts, which include CURRENT SEMESTER REGISTRATION. University of Regina Unofficial Transcript titled 'Current Registration & List of Courses (Unofficial Transcript)' found in UR Self Service OR University of Regina Official Transcript from MyCreds. Please refer to the MyCreds | MesCertif learner FAQs for more information on fees and how to register.
IMPORTANT: If you are an entrance student with no grades yet at the U of R, in addition to the unofficial transcript found in UR Self Service or the official transcript from MyCreds, you MUST also provide a copy of your last institution transcript along with the grading key in order to be considered. You must combine these documents into one and upload them.
