Internal Scholarships
The RBC Woman in Leadership Scholarship was established by the Royal Bank Foundation through a donation to the RBC Woman Executive in Residence Program to assist woman students who are pursuing a degree in the Faculty of Business Administration (Hill School of Business, Levene Graduate School of Business, or Business Administration through First Nations University).
Eligibility
One scholarship will be presented to a female graduate student at the University of Regina. The graduate student must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in any graduate program in the Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business;
- Registered and remains registered in a minimum of 3 credit hours in the upcoming academic year;
- Completed a minimum of 15 credit hours in or toward a Levene Program;
- Achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 85%; and,
- Consideration will be given to students who have demonstrated leadership skills.
Note: Preference will be given to students who:
- With volunteer experience including but not limited to participation on Levene Graduate Students Association or opportunities in the community.
- Are self-declared as Indigenous Canadian (including Aboriginal Peoples in Canada, First Nations, Status/Non-Status, Inuit, or Metis ancestry).
Application Information
In addition, students will need to upload the following:
- One page statement demonstrating your leadership skills and volunteer work; and
- UP TO DATE Transcripts, which include CURRENT SEMESTER REGISTRATION. University of Regina Unofficial Transcript titled 'Current Registration & List of Courses (Unofficial Transcript)' found in UR Self Service OR University of Regina Official Transcript from MyCreds. Please refer to the MyCreds | MesCertif learner FAQs for more information on fees and how to register.
IMPORTANT: If you are an entrance student with no grades yet at the U of R, in addition to the unofficial transcript found in UR Self Service or the official transcript from MyCreds, you MUST also provide a copy of your last institution transcript along with the grading key in order to be considered. You must combine these documents into one and upload them.
All of these items are needed for an application to be considered complete.
