Internal Scholarships
QueensBridge Psychology Services was founded by University of Regina Clinical Psychology alumni, Dr. Katherine Shebelski (McMillan) and Dr. Chelsea Delparte in 2021. QueensBridge is a group psychology practice with locations in both Regina and Saskatoon. In recognition and gratitude for the outstanding training provided by the Faculty of the Clinical Psychology program, this award recognizes students with exemplary therapeutic and assessment skills who show great promise for a future in clinical practice. The Donor established the QueensBridge Doctoral Award for Clinical Excellence in 2023. This award will recognize and reward third year students who are pursuing their PhD in Clinical Psychology and who have demonstrated a high level of excellence in their clinical placements.
Eligibility
The QueensBridge Doctoral Award for Clinical Excellence will be presented to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:
• Pursuing a PhD degree in Clinical Psychology;
• Enrolled in their third year of study; and
• Demonstrated the highest level of clinical skill as determined by practicum placements evaluations throughout their PhD training.
Application Information
In addition, students will need to upload the following:
- UP TO DATE Transcripts, which include CURRENT SEMESTER REGISTRATION. University of Regina Unofficial Transcript titled 'Current Registration & List of Courses (Unofficial Transcript)' found in UR Self Service OR University of Regina Official Transcript from MyCreds. Please refer to the MyCreds | MesCertif learner FAQs for more information on fees and how to register.
IMPORTANT: If you are an entrance student with no grades yet at the U of R, in addition to the unofficial transcript found in UR Self Service or the official transcript from MyCreds, you MUST also provide a copy of your last institution transcript along with the grading key in order to be considered. You must combine these documents into one and upload them.
