Internal Scholarships
In honour of Lloyd Person and to commemorate his service to the University of Regina the Lloyd Person Scholarship was established in 1981 for graduate and undergraduate student with a special interest in Canadian Literature through programs offered by the Department of English, or the Department of French.
Eligibility
The scholarship will be awarded to a University of Regina student meeting the following criteria:
- Enrolled in a Masters program in English or French;
- Course work and thesis topic chosen must fall within the Canadian Literature category;
- Registered and remains registered in a minimum of six credit hours in the semester the award is presented; and
- Successfully achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80%.
NOTE: The scholarship will alternate between undergrad and graduate students. It will be presented to undergraduate applicants in even years, and to graduate applicants in odd years.
Application Information
In addition, students will need to upload the following:
- UP TO DATE Transcripts, which include CURRENT SEMESTER REGISTRATION. University of Regina Unofficial Transcript titled 'Current Registration & List of Courses (Unofficial Transcript)' found in UR Self Service OR University of Regina Official Transcript from MyCreds. IMPORTANT: If you are an entrance student with no grades yet at the U of R, in addition to the unofficial transcript found in UR Self Service or the official transcript from MyCreds, you MUST also provide a copy of your last institution transcript along with the grading key in order to be considered. You must combine these documents into one and upload them.
