The Harald Liebe Graduate Scholarship in Petroleum Engineering was established in 2018 by Friends of the former South Saskatchewan Section of Petroleum Society in support of educational scholarships or bursaries for Petroleum Systems Engineering students.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:
- Open to Graduate students pursuing a degree in Petroleum Systems Engineering;
- Demonstrates academic excellence by a minimum of 80% University Grade Point Average;
- Demonstrates financial need; and
- Demonstrates community involvement.

Application Information

In addition, students will need to upload the following:

- one page statement demonstrating financial need (Tell us your story as to WHY or the nature of your financial need);

- one page statement demonstrating community involvement; and

- UP TO DATE Transcripts, which include CURRENT SEMESTER REGISTRATION. University of Regina Unofficial Transcript titled 'Current Registration & List of Courses (Unofficial Transcript)' found in UR Self Service OR University of Regina Official Transcript from MyCreds. Please refer to the MyCreds | MesCertif learner FAQs for more information on fees and how to register.

IMPORTANT: If you are an entrance student with no grades yet at the U of R, in addition to the unofficial transcript found in UR Self Service or the official transcript from MyCreds, you MUST also provide a copy of your last institution transcript along with the grading key in order to be considered. You must combine these documents into one and upload them.
