Expressions of Métis Spirituality and Religion Across the Métis Homeland (Lebret)
Métis scholars Drs Chantal Fiola, Emily Grafton, and Paul L. Gareau are undertaking the research study titled above in collaboration with the Rupertsland Centre for Métis Research (RCMR) and in partnership with the historic Métis communities of St. Laurent, MB., Lebret, SK., and St. Albert, AB. (represented by three Métis Community Liaisons and a Knowledge Keepers Council), and partner Universities of Winnipeg, Regina, and Alberta!
Community gatherings will include opportunities to participate in an interview, talking circle, and/or questionnaire, as well as land-based activities, local entertainment, and sharing a meal together (max 50 ppl). Community gatherings are open to Métis people who are connected to the particular community.
