English as a Second Language Programs

Language and Culture
Experience Western Canada while practicing your English communication skills. Both in-person and virtual options are available.
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)
This free English language program will help you improve your English and integrate into Canadian culture in a welcoming university atmosphere. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This program is for eligible permanent residents and protected persons, 18 years of age or older.
