The Paul J. Hill School of Business is thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our students at the 2025 JDC West competition. Hosted at University of Calgary, JDC West is Western Canada’s premier undergraduate business competition, hosting 1,300 attendees and uniting over 650 delegates from 12 top post-secondary institutions. This year, our Hill JDC West team proudly secured remarkable honors, earning Third Place Team School of the Year and Third Place Academic School of the Year.

The team demonstrated excellence across a wide array of categories:

  • Accounting – 1st Place
  • International Business – 1st Place
  • Not-for-Profit – 2nd Place
  • Entrepreneurship – 3rd Place
  • Human Resources – 3rd Place
  • Marketing – 3rd Place
  • Athletics – 3rd Place
  • Skit Night – 3rd Place

In addition to their competitive success, the team’s commitment to community impact shone brightly. They were ranked #1 in both Charity Hours, 5,446 total volunteer hours and Charity Dollars Raised, $334,676. This exceptional dedication reflects the spirit of leadership and responsibility that defines the Hill School of Business.

These results are a testament to the hard work, talent, and determination of our students. Their ability to excel academically and make a meaningful impact in their communities underscores the values we strive to instill at Hill. Congratulations to all participants, and thank you to our Faculty Advisor, Randy Linton, and the many coaches, mentors, and supporters who contributed to this success".
