Inter-Collegiate Business Competition
The Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) is Canada's oldest and longest-running undergraduate business competition having begun in 1978. ICBC is an international case competition, that receives over 170 team submissions from over 40 Canadian and International Business Schools each year. Students from the Paul J. Hill School of Business regularly participate, having sent 29 teams to the Final Round since 2010.
The Preliminary Round of the competition has students complete a business case analysis. Students have one month to complete their analysis and submit their written recommendation. The cases are then reviewed, and the top five to six teams in each category are selected as finalists and are invited to the Final Round, held at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. The Final Round takes place over two days, during which students have 5.5 hours to analyze and prepare a business case to present to a panel of judges.
You can learn more about the competition by contacting our ICBC faculty advisor, Tatiana Levit, at Tatiana.Levit@uregina.ca, or by visiting the ICBC website.
