The program strives to cultivate cross-disciplinary teamwork by bringing together diverse student teams, allowing for a broader perspective and shared intellect. This equips participants with the necessary skills, mindset, and networks to effectively address complex challenges. The Directors Education Program (DEP), jointly developed by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management is offered nationally at Canada's top business schools.
The Levene Graduate School of Business, in collaboration with the Edwards School of Business, is proud to offer the Saskatchewan Directors Education Program (SK DEP). It is the first jointly delivered, two-city DEP in Canada.
The program is designed for executives with broad experience who want to improve their skills and be more effective in the boardroom. The ICD-Rotman DEP has been specifically designed to help directors overcome the challenges they encounter in the boardroom by introducing activities and processes that assist them in fulfilling their role. The program addresses challenges caused by information gaps, time squeezes and behavioural dynamics.
The instruction is focused on advancing the knowledge and skill of every director, while the diversity of participants and faculty creates a perfect atmosphere for examining contradicting perspectives and overcoming a variety of challenges.
The Saskatchewan Directors Education Program consists of four three-day modules totaling twelve days. Two modules will be delivered in Regina, and two in Saskatoon.
Please visit the ICD website for additional information on the program and to learn how to apply.
