Socks Design Competition
Eligibility
Open to current Hill and Levene Schools of Business students involved in student groups: BSS (Business Students’ Society), Hill Marketing Association, Enactus, UR Investing, JDC West, or LGSA (Levene Graduate Students' Association)
Design Guidelines
- All designs must incorporate the Hill and Levene Schools of Business logo and follow the official brand guidelines
- Designs must be original and professional—no vulgar, slang, or discriminatory words, phrases, or graphics will be allowed.
- Must fit within specified sock dimensions template
- Original artwork only (no copyrighted or third-party images).
- Submissions not adhering to these rules will not be considered.
Submission Requirements

Deadline: February 24, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

File Format:
- Any file will work, a pdf, jpg or png. You could even draw it by hand!
- Large files should be shared via Google Drive or WeTransfer.

Submission Method: All designs must be emailed to Crystal Gellner, Student, Alumni & Events Coordinator.
Judging & Winner Selection
- A panel of judges will select the top three designs. Criteria include creativity and originality, relevance to the brand identity, feasibility of production, and visual appeal.
- A People’s Choice Award will be determined through voting.
- All of the above will also receive a public recognition via social media, newsletters, and website.
- Winners will be announced on Instagram and via email on February 27, 2025.
- Organizers retain rights to use the winning design for production and marketing.
Prizes
- 1st Place: $300 food & beverage credit for the student club’s end-of-year event.
- 2nd Place: $200 food & beverage credit for the student club’s end-of-year event.
- 3rd Place: $100 food & beverage credit for the student club’s end-of-year event.
- People’s Choice Award: Swag bag.
Prize Fulfillment
Once a club sets a date for its end-of-year event, the club must inform the Student, Alumni & Events Coordinator to arrange food & beverage delivery.
