Arts Student Services can help you with:

  • choosing your courses and program,
  • registering in or dropping classes,
  • arranging for transfer credit,
  • studying abroad,
  • deferring course work,
  • preparing appeals,
  • measuring your progress toward your degree/certificate,
  • applying for graduation,
  • and more!
Please note: If you are a Faculty of Arts students admitted through one of the Federated Colleges (Campion College, First Nations University of Canada, or Luther College), you will need to visit instead the website of that college for information and services related to your studies.

Book an Advising Appointment

Complete this form to book a 30 minute appointment with an Academic Advisor from the Arts Student Services Office. Appointments can be booked Monday-Friday betweent the hours of 9:00am-11:30am and 1:00pm-3:30pm. You will recieve an email with a confirmed appointment time!

Drop-in Advising

Arts Drop-in Advising sessions are designed to address any urgent inquiries you might have within the current semester and allow you to meet virtually with an advisor without scheduling an appointment in advance.

How To Use

  • Log in to Zoom during one of of our open sessions and enter meeting code: TBA
  • Upon joining the Zoom meeting, you will be admitted to a waiting room. Each student will be admitted one by one in the order that they joined into the main meeting room for an initial assessment. Please make sure to have your student ID number and questions ready!
  • After your initial assessment, you will be connected with an academic advisor in a Zoom break out room for your one-on-one session. Please be patient as we assist each student in the waiting room. Unfortunately we will not be able to estimate wait times.
Note: If you receive the message, "This meeting has been locked by the host", this means that we are at capacity for the  session. In this case please fill out the advising request form found above.
