About the Community
The Chancellor's Community is a philanthropic network of leaders from business, academia, and the community who are dedicated to transforming the lives of talented U of R students through education, and empowering the next generation of leaders.
By supporting high-value, renewable undergraduate scholarships and graduate student fellowships, along with mentoring and networking opportunities, and more, the Chancellor’s Community aspires to breakdown barriers and open up doors for exceptional students along their academic journey.
Chancellor's Scholarship
Beginning in Fall 2024, the Chancellor's Scholarship will be awarded annually to 14 undergraduate domestic students who meet a variety of criteria, including a minimum admission average of 95 per cent. Scholarship recipients will receive $10,000 per year for up to four years, plus on-campus housing for their first year. One of the scholarships will be reserved for Indigenous applicants and one for out-of-province applicants. Learn more.
Chancellor's Fellowship
Thanks to the generous support of donors in the Chancellor's Community, Chancellor’s Fellowships of $25,000 each will be awarded to two graduate students entering the University of Regina in Fall 2024. Learn more.

Annual gifts
Annual participation in the Chancellor’s Community runs from May 1 to April 30. Gifts are fully tax deductible. Sign up between September 2023 and April 2024, and you will be included in all Chancellor’s Community communication and special events until April 30, 2025.
- Individual or Couples Gift: Commemorating the University’s 50th anniversary, annual gifts are $1,974 for individuals or couples. You will receive access to exclusive events, networking opportunities, and a community of philanthropists who are passionate about education.
- Corporate Gift: For a minimum annual gift of $10,000 you and your company will have the opportunity to support and engage with outstanding U of R students in various fields of study. As a member of the Chancellor’s Community, you are aligning your company with a meaningful cause and demonstrating corporate social impact.
- New Alumni Gift: Stay connected! The University of Regina values the commitment of our recent graduates. As a new alumni, your annual individual gift is $50 per year for the first five years, and a minimum of $1,974 per year thereafter.
- Chancellor’s Scholar Gift: Individuals and corporations have an additional opportunity to provide a one-time gift of $40,000, which will support a full four-year renewable scholarship for a high-achieving domestic student. In recognition of your generosity, you will also be able to add your name to the gift (i.e., [your name] Chancellor's Scholar).
