Neekaneewak Round Dance
You are invited to attend the ta-tawâw Student Centre’s 2025 Neekaneewak Round Dance at the University of Regina on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The Round Dance is a First Nation's ceremony that involves community visitors, guests, dancers, singers, and drummers and includes celebratory songs, special dances, a pipe ceremony, a traditional feast, and a traditional giveaway. This will be a large community event where respected leaders will participate in key roles, including several student volunteers. Visitors and officials representing a range of Indigenous communities will be present. The Round Dance is open to everyone and is a celebration of our ancestors and communities.
