What a great game. GW Beer Devils were number one in the standings, but as one astute Slugger commented: "The Sluggers were number one the diamond." When it comes to fun and sportsmanship, the Sluggers have always shaken hands at the end of the game. A new ringer (Chris) was nice enough to come out on the invitation of Randy and Adeline ... and she's welcome to play out the remainder of the schedule. Congrats all around for the spirited play and effort.
I'll be on a two week hiatus, first for Certificaion at Bellevue (in a nice white jacket), then for a little RnR north of PA. I'll see you for the final regular season game on the 6th of August. Remember, I'm cheering for you, so keep you're stick on the ice!!!
