A beautiful summer evening for ball ... so long as you like it HOT -- 34 Celsiushot to be precise. The crack of the bat was sounding even before the first pitch of the game, perhaps this was the inspiration for the Sluggers weighty run production. For playing only five innings, the Sluggers pounded out 23 solid well earned runs. Everyone scored at least one run. 4 runs: Todd, Mark. 3 runs: Wendy, Ted, Shaun. 2 runs: Art, Dave. A total team effort especially from Kathy "D-9" Nolan taking care of first base. If you don't get it think Kramer Ltd or Caterpillar. 2 RBIs for Donna as the tenth batter in the 2nd. Three homers including one Grand Salami by Mark. In all a very productive night from everyone.
