These stats are approximate since I didn't have the scoresheet at the end of the game. Thanks to all that came out on time ... and watched A-1 Rentalls tear down the SIFC pow-wow tent from last week's festivities. The game was going to be played regardless of on field obstacles, potential heavy rain, or lightning. Luckily after the diamond was clear only a few drops of rain fell around the 4th or 5th, even though the clouds were ominous.
We hung right in there with the top team in the league. A good effort to be proud of in the Ultimate season! Look to Murray Walker for inspired play on the diamond, a commentator that is a legend in his time ... ask any true fan of the sport. When it's over we should all be able to say, it was a lot of fun ... ciao. Until next time.
