Hmmm. How did I know that victory was in the air? Simple, I was negligent in a prompt post game summary for our last outing ;-) The DYN-O-MITE TNT Sluggers have earned the first win of the season with many more to follow. We've been competitive all season and our hard work has finally paid off. The Dragon Fly's were short a couple of girls so the automatic two outs every time the the batting order made for some short innings on D. To our credit, our D was very solid, like the rock of gibraltar. Stingy to be precise ... yielding not more than 2 runs in any given inning. When our bats finally come around we will be a formidable team.
In any case, a good sample of the team shared pizza and beverages at Tumblers to celebrate the victory (thanks to Mark for being the instigator ;-). Some of the topics of conversation cannot be repeated on the internet (especially for those Sopranos' viewers), but it appeared all had a good time both on and off the field. Bring on the Canadian Hardcore's ... we're ready!!!
