For the first time this year the Sluggers allowed ten batters to the plate. Hoof Hearted sent ten to the plate in the first inning and 8 runs were scored ... our only bad inning. However, the defense held solid for the remainder of the game and we still had a chance to win with our last at bat. Once our bats get lit up and we start scoring 15-20 runs, we'll notch victories faster than you can say Mercury Grand Marquis!
