Post-Visit Thoughts

Research is an integral part of any post-secondary institution. Over the years, we've had visiting professors, researchers, and research students from around the world come to the University of Regina to engage in the sharing of knowledge and practices, and to collaborate on a variety of research topics.

The [Visiting Professionals and Scholars] program is a very well-designed program; all instructions and guidance were very clear[.] I didn’t face any difficulty during my stay. This program is a very useful program for academics to initiate networks and do research collaborations with U of R professors not only during the visit time but it can continue afterward.

My visit was a very positive experience. I met great and welcoming people and participated in a lot of activities. I left [the] University of Regina with new friends and professional connections that I will stay in touch with for future work. I had [a] great time [at the] University of Regina, and perhaps, I will come back in the future.

The University of Regina is a quiet and beautiful place. The research is active and many international students are participating [in] research activities. My time at Regina contributes to [my] future academic career in view of furthering the understanding of biomass and the applications through continued research and education. In general, my research visit [was] an extremely positive experience.
