Mathematics and Computer Science

The Combined Major in Mathematics & Computer Science is ideal for students who are interested in computation or theoretical computer science. A large number of the most exciting trends in computing (such as computer graphics and machine learning) are based upon a thorough grounding in mathematics. The BSc Honours option allows for the opportunity to continue postgraduate studies or prepare for a career in research.
