This is an unofficial list of previously evaluated courses and programs for transfer credit at the University of Regina. To search for courses, choose the institution from the drop-down menu. Saskatchewan institutions are listed first, followed by advanced high school curriculums and other institutions alphabetically. See below for further details on how to interpret the database.
Guidance tool only; official assessments are provided after admission to the University of Regina.
Course Equivalency Conventions:
- SUBJ ### = Specific courses offered at the University of Regina. Refer to the Undergraduate Course Catalog.
- SUBJ 1XX, 2XX, 3XX, 4XX = Transfer credit as 'unspecified' due to lack of exact match; credit assigned based on subject and level.
- ELEC 1XX, 2XX, 3XX, 4XX = Course not offered at U of R; discretionary credit granted for open elective.
- TRCR DOC = Submit a syllabus to determine equivalence.
- TRCR NOEQV = No equivalent course at U of R; no transfer credit.
- TRCR SME = Course syllabus under review by subject matter expert.
- TRCR NRPS = Institution does not meet recognition policy; courses not evaluated for transfer.
Effective Term Importance:
- Effective term indicates when an equivalence was assessed, referenced by calendar year and academic term (e.g., 202310 = Winter 2023).
- Equivalences more than 10 years old may require reassessment to ensure content alignment.
- Compare effective terms with course dates for relevance. A syllabus from your term may be needed if significant content differences exist.
