Please send your feedback to Angela Leader in the Provost's office at ea.provost@uregina.ca no later than Tuesday December 13, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. All input received will be anonymized, collated, and circulated to members of the Search Advisory Committee.

Dear members of the campus community:
After a discussion with the Committee, the membership of the Dean of Education Search Advisory Committee has changed.
Prior to any Committee deliberations regarding the shortlisted candidates, Dr. Christine Massing took leave from the Committee. In consultation with the Committee and Human Resources, and with time constraints in mind, a replacement for Dr. Massing will not be sought at this stage of the search process.
On behalf of the Search Committee members, I want to acknowledge and thank Dr. Massing for her contributions to the Search Committee.

Dear members of the campus community:
The Search Advisory Committee is pleased to announce the names of the three candidates shortlisted for the position of Dean, Faculty of Education.
Arrangements are now being made to bring these candidates to have these candidates participate in a formal interview, public presentation, stakeholder meetings, and social gatherings with faculty, staff and students. Following these visits, the Search Advisory Committee will seek input on these candidates from our internal and external community members and stakeholders.
The dates of these campus visits are as follows:
- Monday November 28: Candidate #1
- Thursday December 1: Candidate #2
- Monday December 5: Candidate #3

The Search Advisory Committee is pleased to invite Phone dial-in options to attend the Public Presentations in the Faculty of Education Teacher's Preparatory Centre (ED 228) or via Zoom, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. on the dates listed above.
We recognize and understand that you may have other obligations that conflict with the time of the public presentations; consequently,
a recording will be made available for period of one week once all campus visits and presentations are complete.

Please be advised that the Dean of Education Search Advisory Committee membership has been revised in response to the disclosure of new information; we welcome Ian Krips to the Committee as the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation representative in replacement of previous member Bobbi Taillefer.

Dear Members of the Campus Community,
The Search Advisory Committee for the Dean of Education search has completed the position description/appointment details and we have posted the advertisement live on our University of Regina Careers Website. This position is being posted and circulated nationally and internationally through various recruitment venues. If you have the names and contact information of possible candidates, please send this information to Angela Leader (ea.provost@uregina.ca) and we will reach out to those individuals directly.
We are pleased to announce that Leaders International Executive Search has been awarded the contract to assist the University of Regina and the Education SAC in completing the search for a new Dean, and the position is now posted to their website.
The Search Committee will begin reviewing applications in mid-October, and further updates will follow. Please refer to this Search Webpage for all updates.

- By January 30: SAC makes a recommendation regarding preferred candidate to the Provost; Provost makes recommendation to President; negotiations with preferred candidate commence;
- By February 1: Announcement of the new Dean.
