Introduction
To maintain appropriate levels of security for the University of Regina, designated hours of opening and closing of University facilities have been developed.Policy
The exterior doors to University of Regina Campus facilities will be locked from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. daily. As well, the University will be locked for a period of time during and including Christmas Day to New Year’s Day. These dates will be determined on a yearly basis, and exceptions may be granted at the sole discretion of the Vice-President (Administration) (i.e. to allow limited hours/holiday access to the Fitness and Lifestyle Centre).
When the facilities are closed, all persons within the facilities of the University of Regina must be willing to provide a University of Regina photo identification card to Protective Services upon request.
