ePermit Information and Rates
Most students, faculty and staff will have some type of parking ePermit.
- M ePermits are a search style permit which means you can park in any M designated area. Your M ePermit is
NOT specific to a designated parking lot. - Z ePermits are a scramble style permit, meaning that you are assigned a specific Z area but not a designated stall within that area.
- Parkade permits are assigned to a specific parkade.

- M ePermits are not lot specific so any M permit may park in any M lot.
- If traveling between campuses M permits allow you to park in any M lot at the campus that you are visiting for up 3 hours.
- M area ePermits are a non-plugin non (electrical) parking option.
- M areas are reserved for M ePermit holders from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
- This is available to students, faculty and staff who park at the University of Regina on a full-time or part-time basis
- Z ePermits are lot specific so you must park in your designated Z Lot.
- If traveling between campuses Z permits allow you to park in any Z lot at the campus that you are visiting for up 3 hours.
- Z ePermits offer electric plugin for Level 1 Ev chargers, Block heaters, battery heaters and internal car warmers provided that they do not exceed the output of the power pedestal which is 120 volts 15 amps.
- Z areas are reserved for Z ePermit holders from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
- Are available to students, faculty and staff.
A Parkade ePermit allows you to park your vehicle in a designated underground heated parkade.
- Parkade ePermit holders may also park in Lot 22 Z area at the College Avenue Campus
- There are 3 underground heated parkades:
- Dr. William Riddell (RC) Parkade
- Centre for Kinesiology, Health & Sport (CKHS) Parkade
- Kisik Towers
- Any student living on campus that requires on campus parking must purchase a resident parking permit. If you are a non-U of R student living on campus please contact us to request a log-in to purchase a Resident ePermit. Once we have confirmed your accommodations deposit, you may log-in to UR Parking Account and purchase a Resident ePermit.
- Resident ePermit are lot specific permits so you must park in your designated parking lot.
- Resident ePermits offer electric plugin for Level 1 Ev chargers, Block heaters, battery heaters and internal car warmers provided that they do not exceed the output of the power pedestal which is 120 volts 15 amps.
- Resident ePermit holders may park in any M or Z area on weekdays between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 am, as well as on weekends & statutory holidays.
- Resident ePermit holders who you are loading or unloading their vehicle have complimentary 30-minute maximum parking in the Time Zones nearest their residence entrance.
- Paskwaw and Wakpā Towers residents may park in the 30-minute time zones between the towers. (Maximum 30 minutes)
- College West residents may park in the time zone out front of College West or in lot 16Z if the time zone is full. (Maximum 30 minutes)
- Kīšik Tower residents may park in the time zones out front of the tower or in lot 13M or 14M (Maximum 30 minutes)
A Green log ePermit offers a non-plugin (electrical) parking at a discounted price.
Green ePermits allow you to only park in the designated Green section located in Lot 1.
The Green ePermit is reserved for Green ePermit holders from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
They are available to students, faculty and staff.
Students enrolled in the University of Regina Faculty of Nursing program will require an ePermit to park both here and at the Saskatchewan Polytechnic campus

An SCBsN ePermit allows you to park your vehicle in any M area at the University of Regina and in student parking lots 8, 10, 14 & 15 at SaskPoly.
To Register your Carpool group, email our office at uparking@uregina.ca with the details about your vehicle and the passengers in your car group.
- Your name (first/last) and University ID #
- The names and University ID #’s of each carpool member
If you have a SaskAbilities Parking Permit you can park in any accessible area and pay for your parking session.
A University of Regina Accessible parking ePermit can be added to your account. This allows you to park in any accessible parking location. If the location is full, our ePermit also offers you the choice to park in a time zone. If that's full then a public parking space. Please contact us if you are parking in a non-accessible space.
Temporary Medical Parking Accommodation Requests are processed by:
- Students: Contact our Centre for Student Accessibility by email accessibility.uregina.ca
- Employees: Contact our Healthy Workplace by email HWA@uregina.ca
- Saskabilities Parking Permits must be displayed at all times if you do not have a UofR accessible parking ePermit.
Contact our office to purchase an ePermit for each vehicle you need to park on campus.
Parking ePermits may be available individually or for your organization. Requests will need to be made by contacting us for availability and rates. If space is not immediately available, a waitlist option may be provided to you. EPermits are campus specific.
Main Campus – offers a selection of electrical, non-electrical and underground parking for daily, monthly or yearly terms.
College Avenue Campus – offers a selection of electrical or non-electrical parking for daily, monthly or yearly terms. This parking provides an alternative that is close to downtown.
