- Sarah Todd is a registered psychiatric nurse, who completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing (BScPN) from Brandon University in 2006. Sarah completed a Master of Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Stream from the University of Regina in 2021, with a focus on mental health, addictions and infectious disease in the marginalized population. Sarah also holds certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE).
- Sarah has 16 years of nursing experience both as undergraduate nursing educator and a care provider to some of Saskatchewan's most vulnerable populations. Sarah spent a significant portion of her nursing career working in rural Saskatchewan and has worked in various clinical settings, ranging from emergency and acute care to infectious disease and mental health.
- Sarah’s nursing practice is founded on relational practice and advocacy, and providing trauma-informed, culturally safe, and integrative care. My greatest teachers have been the clients I have been privileged to work with and care for. For this reason, my approach to care and teaching honors a holistic and diverse mindset rooted in mutual respect, engagement, and integrity.
