Greetings,

We are writing to inform you of upcoming maintenance work that will affect the availability of our aquatic facility. Our pool will be closed for unscheduled cleaning and maintenance from Monday, December 16th, 2024 to Sunday, January 5th, 2025. During this period, the pool area will be inaccessible.

We are also planning a future closure in April 2025 for a mechanical upgrade project. This work is essential to ensure the long-term functionality of our pool facility. We will provide you with the exact dates and details as soon as they are confirmed.

TO AQUATICS MEMBERS AND SWIM LESSONS

Dear Aquatic Members and Lesson Registrants,

We are writing to inform you that our pool will be closed from Monday, December 16th, 2024 to Sunday, January 5th, 2025 for unscheduled cleaning and maintenance.

During this period, all aquatic activities, including swim lessons, will be temporarily suspended. We understand the inconvenience this may cause you and appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to ensure the safety and quality of our facilities.

Refunds will be issued for any disrupted swim lesson registrations already paid and those holding aquatic membership will have their membership prorated during the closure period.

KHS Client Services

Deep Water Aquafit involves a combination of cardio and muscle conditioning, using interval training. Conducted in the deep end, participants learn to increase their intensity to get the most out of their workout. Class is for all fitness levels and flotation is provided.

Shallow Water AquaFit is designed to improve balance, stability, agility, and whole body strength and endurance.

Swimming lessons include: 

• Adult Programs
• Lifesaving Society Programs
• Private Instruction

Recreational Swim Hours:

Monday/Wednesday/Friday:
6:00am - 9:00am

Monday - Friday:
11:30am - 1:30pm

Monday - Thursday:
8:30pm - 10:30pm

Saturday:
1:40pm - 2:50pm each week, and 5:15pm - 6:50pm every second week.

Sunday:
3:00pm - 6:00pm

July/August Swim Hours:

Monday-Friday:

12:00pm to 1:30pm & 4:30pm to 6:30pm

Saturday & Sunday:

3:00pm to 6:00pm

Keep in Mind:

• Public change facilities are located on the main floor, directly across from the Facilities Services Desk (CK 119)
• Cell phone use in each of the public change facilities is strictly prohibited.
• Please read the Pool Usage Rules to ensure your safety in the Aquatic Centre.
• Swim Tokens will be needed to gain access to the pool during all open recreation swim times.  Please scan your student card/client ID card at the Facilities Services desk (CK 119).
• Children under 14 can only swim on Saturdays and Sundays during recreational swim hours.
