Join the Department of Visual Arts for ART FOR LUNCH with Tak Pham.
The MacKenzie Art Gallery's Associate Curator, Tak Pham, will share a virtual tour of the current exhibition Spazio Disponibile featuring new work by Canadian artist Dawit L. Petros. The talk will also include previews of an upcoming solo exhibition at the Gallery opening in March 2022.
Tak Pham is a curator and critic. He is a graduate of Carleton University and OCAD University. Pham has curated exhibitions for the MacKenzie Art Gallery, Regina (2019-present); Varley Art Gallery, Markham (2020); Nuit Blanche Toronto, Toronto (2017); Pari Nadimi Gallery, Toronto (2017); Xpace Cultural Centre, Toronto (2017); Y+ Contemporary, Scarborough (2016); and many other art festivals and private projects. His critical writings and reviews have appeared in ESPACE art actuel, esse arts + opinions, Canadian Art, and Hyperallergic among others. Pham currently works as Associate Curator at the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina, Saskatchewan, Treaty 4 territory, the original lands of the Cree, Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakota, Lakota, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation.
