Moving Into Student Housing

We are beyond excited that you have chosen to join the University of Regina Housing community!

Upon your arrival you will be assigned a mailbox for postal deliveries.

For food deliveries and delivery by courier, please note the street address of the building you will be moving into:

Spring and Summer 2024 Term Arrivals

We look forward to meeting you! On your assigned move-in date, please proceed to the Kīšik Towers housing office to check in.

What is an early arrival? 

Booked an early flight? Tight timeline? No problem! The University of Regina Housing Services can accommodate early arrivals for new accommodations up to seven days before your official check-in date. Please note that there is a fee of $35 per additional day outside of your official move-in. 

Please notify our team of your early arrival by the date indicated below. Early arrival accommodations are not guaranteed after these dates: 

• Fall term: August 1 
• Winter Term: December 1 
• Spring & Summer Term: April 1  

Early arrivals that are more than seven days should reach out to Hospitality.services@uregina.ca or seek alternative accommodation. 

There is a lot of behind-the-scenes work that goes into making sure your room is ready for you, from coordinating room changes for previous residents to ensuring your new room is squeaky clean. Thank you for helping us make your arrival and stay the best it can be! 

You are required to complete an Early Arrival request form through the Housing Portal. Requests for move-in outside of the eary arrival timeline will not be considered.

Linens

Residents are responsible for providing their own bedding. All beds are a Twin XL size (with exception of the Kīšik Towers 2-Bedroom Apartments which are a double). Bedding packages will be available to rent or purchase on arrival for international students. Please ask at the Kisik front desk if this is something that you require. Rentals are for 7 days at a cost of $10 and while purchasing costs $50. Each set comes with a fitted sheet, flat sheet, blanket, pillow, pillow case, and towel.

Alternate Arrangements

If you require special accommodations or have accessibility needs, please contact the Housing Services Office as well as Student Accessibility at 306-585-4631. Arrangements should be made as soon as possible to ensure enough time to prepare your room.
