Internal Scholarships

The University of Regina Women's Centre Bursary for Women was established in 2003 to assist full-time female students with the cost associated with studying at the University of Regina. The bursary will be in support of tuition, course and semester based fees.

Eligibility

The bursary will be presented to University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:
- Female student;
- Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 75% or higher;
- Registered and remains registered in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the term the bursary is presented;
- Preference will be given to applicants with a dependent (children/child); and
- Demonstrates financial need.

Note: If a tie exists between eligible applicants, the bursary will be presented to the student with the highest CGPA.

Application Information

In addition, students will need to upload the following:

- One page written statement demonstrating financial need (Tell us your story as to WHY or the nature of your financial need); and

- UP TO DATE Transcripts, which include CURRENT SEMESTER REGISTRATION. University of Regina Unofficial Transcript titled 'Current Registration & List of Courses (Unofficial Transcript)' found in UR Self Service OR University of Regina Official Transcript from MyCreds. Please refer to the MyCreds | MesCertif learner FAQs for more information on fees and how to register.

IMPORTANT: If you are an entrance student with no grades yet at the U of R, in addition to the unofficial transcript found in UR Self Service or the official transcript from MyCreds, you MUST also provide a copy of your last institution transcript along with the grading key in order to be considered. You must combine these documents into one and upload them.

All of these items are needed for an application to be considered complete.
