University of Regina honors Ukrainian students and others challenged by war in their homeland. The University of Regina is providing a scholarship for students affected by the vagaries of war. The situation in Ukraine has raised the awareness of life-changing events experienced by many students and families who through no fault of their own are no longer able to pursue their educational goals. While Ukraine is the war-torn country in the news most often right now, this award will stand to assist victims of war in any part of the world, this year, and into the future. Project Resilience is a fitting way to support students and families who are victims of war. As a university, we acknowledge the suffering and hardships faced by families in war zones. We can help these students and the children of the families affected by war to obtain a university education.
