This scholarship was created to assist graduate students pursuing research on climate change. The award will cover the cost of attending the bi-annual Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies Conference as well as other aspects of research in Climate Change at the University.

Eligibility

To be eligible an applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in any Master's or Doctoral program at the University of Regina;
- Be pursuing research on climate change;
- Be a registered full-time student or registered for a minimum of three credit hours of thesis research in the semester the award is presented;
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80%; and
- Has a paper or poster accepted in the Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies Conference, held bi-annually (www.ieagreen.org.uk)

- After travel, student must submit receipts providing proof of travel, such as, boarding pass, taxi/train fees, hotel, food receipts at location of conference
- Students must submit all receipts to FGSR within one month of last day of event.

Application Information

In addition, students will need to upload the following:

- Proof that a paper or poster has been accepted. If you have not received acceptance at time of application, then you must submit this by June 13; and

- UP TO DATE Transcripts, which include CURRENT SEMESTER REGISTRATION. University of Regina Unofficial Transcript titled 'Current Registration & List of Courses (Unofficial Transcript)' found in UR Self Service OR University of Regina Official Transcript from MyCreds. Please refer to the MyCreds | MesCertif learner FAQs for more information on fees and how to register.

IMPORTANT: If you are an entrance student with no grades yet at the U of R, in addition to the unofficial transcript found in UR Self Service or the official transcript from MyCreds, you MUST also provide a copy of your last institution transcript along with the grading key in order to be considered. You must combine these documents into one and upload them.
